New Romantic 2005

Karl Kueffel has created numerous works in the theme "new romanticism". For several years he has focused on this subject in his search for clarity and beauty.

This intimate series of work include many portraits of people as well as examples of landscape painting and animal portraits, which shows the longing for the connection of people with their surrounding world.

Mit dem Stichwort der "Neuen Romantik" umfasst Karl Küffel zahlreiche Werke aus seinem Oeuvre.

Über mehrere Jahre hat er sich Bildthemen zugewandt, die seiner Suche nach Klarheit und Schönheit entsprechen.

Entstanden sind dabei intime Menschendarstellungen sowie Beispiele von Landschaftsmalerei und Tierdarstellungen, in denen die Sehnsucht nach der Verbindung des Menschen mit der ihn umgebenden Welt, durch Küffels informell-gegenständliche Arbeitsweise deutlich wird.
